Care instructions
- CERAMIC: The detail glaze is food and microwave safe, but limited microwave time is recommended, as excessive heat will weaken the design. Running the mug through the dishwasher is not advised; gentle hand washing will keep it looking nice and new. Barn & Bay is not responsible for damaged designs from daily wear and tear.
- PADDOCK PLAQUES: Each plaque has been stained and sealed with a spar urethane to provide protection against sunlight, rain, moisture, and temperature changes. Outdoor plaques should be resealed yearly to maintain these properties.
- Gentle Hand Washing is recommended for all fleece & fabric items.
Shipments that are Returned to Barn & Bay
If your shipment is returned to us by the USPS for the following reasons: "UNABLE TO FORWARD" or "FORWARD ADDRESS EXP" or "UNDELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED" or "UNKNOWN ADDRESS" or "UNCLAIMED" I will notify you with photographs of the returned package and ask for address confirmation. We can then arrange for further shipping, to a new address, at the buyer's expense (+ the $.20 listing fee). or a refund (minus all shipping costs) will rewarded. If the item is broken upon it's arrival, the buyer will have to pay for the replacement of the item in full; or, if the buyer has chosen a refund, the full cost of the broken item will be deducted from the total of the refund.
Items that Arrive Damaged
- All shipments carry insurance, so if your order arrives damaged, please notify us within a week of delivery and send us a photo of the broken item, *WITH ITS ENTIRE BOX & ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING.* As soon as we receive photos of the broken item, we can file a USPS insurance claim.
- If you would like a replacement, we will send you a new item at no additional charge. (if a photo of the original packaging cannot be provided, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement item)
- If you would prefer a refund, we will process one, in full, through Etsy. (if a photo of the original packaging cannot be provided, the original shipping charge will not be refunded, only the cost of the item itself)
Restocking Fee on Cancellations and Returns
-If you wish to cancel your order, and do not request said cancellation within 12 hours of purchase, there will be a 20% restocking fee on all made-to-order items.
- Returned items will carry a restocking fee on a case by case basis.
- Restocking fees will be discussed and agreed upon before any refunds are issued or items are returned.
Shipping & Tracking
Free Shipping and $5 Flat Rate Shipping are offered for standard domestic delivery only, international postage overages will be refunded at time of shipment. International customers are responsible for all customs fees and import taxes if applicable.
Barn & Bay uses a package pickup service, which can cause a delay or lack of tracking number updates while the package is being transferred and even after it is in the hands of USPS or FedEx. This can take a few days, so we include the transfer in the listed processing time for our items. Please do contact us if you believe your package has been substantially delayed, and we will take a look at your timeline and inquire with the shipping services if necessary.
